Formed in 1999, Zen Dog is a South Florida band that is taking the music scene by
storm! With its release of ZEN DOG LIVE, its second album-and first for Live Discs-all systems are "go" for widespread success. This pop/rock/alternative band manages to successfully balance different styles of music with songs that are laden with thoughtful lyrics and strong melodic hooks. Zen Dog is currently in the studio recording a studio follow up of all new material, set for release in late spring 04'. They have steadily developed a growing and loyal fan base. Listening to the music, it's difficult to believe the band consists of only 3 players: Larry Ellington, Julie Klein and Mack Preston.

Each brings their unique background and training to their collective music, making Zen Dog stand out from the pack. "It moves me that so many people believe in us," says founder of the band, Julie Klein. "One of the things that ties us together in Zen Dog is that our dream and our love is to play."
